Eagles DE Trent Cole has mild ankle sprain

PHILADELPHIA (AP)—Eagles Pro Bowl defensive end Trent Cole(notes) has a mild ankle sprain and is day to day.

Cole injured his right ankle during the second quarter of football jersey Philadelphia’s 20-17 win at Kansas City on Friday night. An MRI exam on Saturday revealed no structural damage.

Cole had 12 1/2 sacks last season and earned his second trip to the Pro Bowl.
